Thank you, Tim, I'm getting stingy on my sinew.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Excellent work guys. That is how I mount mine also, but mine are not as good looking as those. :'(
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW WHAT A RIDE!!

I'm hoping I can pull off a piece that looks half as good.  I'm wanting to make my first from glass, though (I don't know why), and I can't even seem to get the rough shape out.  I broke a good plate today trying to get the basic shape out lol...just ended up with a bunch of little pieces.  On to a different source lol
Goodbye, friends. I never thought I'd die like this. But I always really hoped. ~ Fry

I do it on my bandsaw. And then fine tune it with a small file.  If I really need to, I use the 60 grit diamond grinding wheel and flatten out the base of the point. But you can do the same thing with a Hacksaw with a PVC blade and a small fill or 60 grit sand paper.
