Thanks to GregB
« on: December 17, 2009, 08:16:35 pm »
I opened the mailbox today and felt like Santa came early. GregB made this for me and I can't wait to get it bloody. He let me pick out the woods and even made the handle a little longer than his template blade he was using when I was down there the first week of Nov. Again, thank you very much Greg. You and yours have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  I can't wait to get back down there where Life Is Good.

Ya, Bear, Greg just walked up to me and asked which blade I liked best and what woods I wanted. I guess I am lucky to have such good friends. By the way, the outer wood is osage and the inner layer is zebra. I think it looks fantastic!  I'm gonna try my darnedest this weekend to get some blood on it.

I didn't get to try it on a deer this season Wayne, but maybe a yote here soon. Zen, it is a very nice sheath. Greg has some amazing talent. He has really just started in this type of leather work. His handles on his bows are top flight, so it doesn't suprise me at all. Thanks for the nice comments guys.
