Next week, when I'm down there. If you're around we'll compare it to some of my Sonora. It looks exactly like some of the stuff I picked up.  A rock dealer friend of mine said that Ky blue, Sonora, Ky black and hornstone were pretty much all the same stuff. Just called different names depending on where it comes from.
Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.

That's some nice looking rock. It looks like there ought to be plenty of points in it. Don't forget to post pictures of your completed work.

Nice looking flint Jesse, ought to make a good hunting point for a buddy nice enough to let you hunt on his property, huh? ;D ;)

Get as much as you an and don't forget us people who are rock poor, but full of desire to knap.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW WHAT A RIDE!!

Thank you Jesse for the fine point you made me out of that rock! I'll have to get it mounted soon to one of my cane arrows. :)
