this bow is white ash,i think it is,its 67'' long at @28'' draw & 48# it the 2 bow i ever made,it a flat bow,still in trying new things,just woundering what is the easest of the selfbows to build,any idea's..

Lungbuster,   For a second bow and a quickie that bow looks pretty darn good.  I encourage you to keep making bows.   As a a frank evaluation it looks like this one has too much bend near the handle and excessively heavy outer limbs and tips.  Those things will rob cast and lead to breakage of the bow.  That said I bet it still shoots well enough to go hunting.
I think a flat bow, such as this is one of the easiest bows to build, and ash is a reasonably easy wood to work.

in my opnion the easiest bow to make is  a bad bow
good bows take a little time,but i never can seem to find that time
i always wanted a harley,untill it became the "thing to ride"
i ride because i love to,not to be part of the crowd

I found the english long bows the easiest, for me ,but I use some power tools. Some day, If I ever figure out how to post  pics, I will post a build along. I usually , build a elb in about two to 3 hours depending on the size and pounds. But I agree with whats been said , Whats the race, I hope you are doing this for you, Take time to enjoy the strokes of the knife and watch the magic. Keep scrapping , Nice bow ....Denny

Takes me about 30 hrs. I love to diddle and dawdle while I build. I have no need to hurry as this is my hobby. :) Jawge
