Have been sorry not knowing how to post pictures cause its kept me from joining in on this fun! Tang knifes are regional to the Rockies and are fun to make as there is a very wide variety of shapes and are coveted by collectors!

I was wondering when somebody was going to kick-start the next challenge. I'll have to wait until my copy of Overstreet gets in to see what a Tang blade is.

Another suggestion is doing an effigy

Wish this was a week earlier I just finished putting a handle on a tanged knappped knife. Now you can not see the tang it is inside a piece of osage.
That's my luck.

Here's one I made yesterday. Blew the notches out, I'm mostly a percussion knapper. Trying to learn pressure and notching now.

I like the knife idea. Although I will have to use another internet(other than my phone) to view and send pics. I have a dacite blade in the works now. Just finished mounting a knife in an elk base yest. I'll try gettin some pics sent sometime.
