The Adventures of Stinky Rawhide: Deer Feet & Sinew
« on: December 08, 2008, 01:23:19 pm »
Here's a series of pics of me processing the deer feet I get form the local meat market (for free).  I don't know if I'm doing it right...I just know that I want the straight part of the large tendon.  I don't like the "forks"....and always cut that part off when I buy sinew anyway.

The last three or four pics shows me cutting around the small, thin bones that some of the legs have...I guess the rear legs have these?

Anyway, here ya go:

I saved some of the leg bones too....for arrowheads. ;D

Chris, I was thinking the same thing. :D  Although you did a nice job of filleting that leg.
