Title: more points
Post by: leapingbare on November 10, 2008, 04:37:14 pm
Ok the knife blade is a ruff grade of horse creek. the tri-notch is HC and the Hoe is some rock we call Tennissee creek chert that comes from the same place as the horse creek. and the turkey tail is TN creek chert to.
the Hoe is the 1st one I've made, i punched notched it and expanded them once i got in. it terned out good i think. i like it.
The turkey tail is not the best example of that point type but its close.

Beautiful points Jesse. Does heat treating bring out the color of the horse creek, or is it naturally that bright?
