Title: need advice/pics on wood.

i am new to getting wood from the woods and don't know what most of them look like. i live in north west idaho and know that we have willo hickory adn yew. some that i don't know are elm ash and birch and i don't know if those would make good bows any advice would be appreciatted

i would definatly use the yew,hickory,elm,ash
but i would shy away from using the willow and birch
