Title: New to the site hello!!

just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm shoot a Bear Montana Longbow 55# and a Damon Howatt Cavalier recurve 45# which I'm in the process of refinishing. I live just south of Nashville TN so if anyone that lives close wants to get together to do some shooting let me know!!

Welcome.    Pappy, Greg and the rest of the Twin Oaks gang are near Clarkesville, north of Nashville.
   Now that you are here, we need to get you into a nice self bow. ;)     Pat

Yep,we are about 30 miles NW of Nashville off I24W.Not doing much shooting right now
except for at deer ;) but we are always around the club on the weekends.Stop by sometime and visit,we will get you in a selfbow,with a little help from you.Where in TN. do you live,how far out
of Nashville ? Welcome to PA ,great bunch of folks here. :)

Welcome aboard! Yep, those bows are way too high-tech...got to get you using a selfbow. ;D

hi thunderstick. A great bunch of informative friendly bowmen you've joined. I'm from London England a bit too far away for us to meet.
Shoot what bow you want. (But it ain't real until you shoot selfbow) ha ha

Welcome Thunderstick, Take Pappy up on his offer, If I lived closer, I sure would drop in on weekends from time to time. You couldn't ask for a nicer bunch of guys to get you started in primitive archery.

Thunderstick you lucky dog. If I could choose any group of guys to live close to it would those boys in Clarksville. Welcome to the site and I echo what everyone else says, selfbows are the logical regression to our primal man.  Danny

I live in La Vergne Tn not too far from the rest of you tn guys. I build a self bow about 5 years ago but not my best work. I wuld love to get together and get some pointers on building a nice one. thanks for the warm welcome!!

Welcome aboard. Yep, you probably live in the best place in the country to get some good hands-on bow building help. Pappy, Greg, and the rest of the crew down there are great guys and hellacious bow builders.
