Title: Hmmm, other backing materials
Post by: islandpiper on September 23, 2008, 12:40:41 am
There is a sheet material that is used in construction for wrapping houses prior to installing the siding.  It is also made into large shipping envelopes.  Can't remember the name right now.(Tyflex??? hmmm)  Senior moment,I think.  It is very low stretch and is used sometimes to stiffent wings of model airplanes made of foam.  It is thin, light, glues well.   I wonder if that would work as bow backing.  Any ideas?
