Ok, so Dano's bows are always more climactic than mine but here is one I am working on anyway. It's got a bit of snake to it and so far has taken virtually no string follow after resting, I started with about 2" of heated reflex. It should come in about 45-50#@28" after shooting in and a bit more tiller attention, but that's a bit slow since my shoulder is still healing from surgery. Zebra tip overlays that still need a bit of finesse. Hill style handle. I am not sure if I will put a rest on it or not. Seems to shoot pretty good so far.

You're going to rule on the tips on this entry :)

That's purty, really like the tips. You guys that build snaky bows have my respect. I have a hard time trying to see the tiller on a straight stave.
-
Yeah love the snakiness and the zebra tips are cool too. I have some zebra wood I may try on for tips after seeing yours. Good job from what I can see. Danny

DONE YET!! ;D
I'm trying, I still don't have a hot box and with all the rain our humidity it through the roof, I am little scared to bend it right now.
-
Good excuse ::) I like that one, no really ;D
-
I likes snakey bows also and especially Osage. Also like the combo of the O and Zwood - really makes both stand out (looks kinda like a snake's head too). Nice work!
-
yup what Bernie said times 2. deffinately like the overlays.

I stil need to shoot it more before I finalize the tiller but here is a full draw and brace. Once the tiller is done I'll be putting rattler skins on and then off to the woods.

I am thinking the lower limb is still pretty stiff and for some reason, to me anyway, the limbs look like they are different lengths. So much so that I went back and measured them, they are the same.

Don't see nutin wrong with dat. Great lookin bow. Now go kill somethin with it. ;D
