Title: Polyurethane glue
Post by: Badbill on August 14, 2008, 09:55:49 pm
Anybody ever use this for building a bow?  How did it work? Is it junk?
Thanks!

If you're talking about something like gorilla glue, I would not recommend it.  As it dries it gets lots of air bubbles.  Also it tends to expand as it dries.

I've used it for gluing on wet leather for grips with no problem. It doesn't take much, because it will expand like foam. I believe Art B. told me he used it some on wood glue ups, but it was a certain kind of wood or something.
