  Here is the bow i am currently working on i am almost ready to take it up to full brace.

Tell me what you think of the tiller.

i think the limb is a little stiff in one part and theni think i could get the out 1/3 of the limb bending

Seems the left limb is a tad stiffer than the right, but I have trouble seeing without a string between the tips for reference.

agreed. left limb mid limb.
hard to see with the dark background and clutter. try to put it in front of a white wall if you can.

I would carefully watch that right limb. Looks to me like it wants to hinge maybe 12 " out and maybe not bending enough on both sides (near the fade and outer limb). Hard to tell though.

see if you can get some better pics.
Doesnt look bad tho.

I think your bend looks pretty good. still think left limb just a tad stiff but not much.
I would low brace it. might change the tiller.
Personally I would shorten up the handle and fade section and get more of the bow working if you can. Low brace it first and see where you are.
where you headed? how long a draw and weight?
what type of wood is that?
and how far have you long stringed it? looks like quite a ways from the pics.

I think that Wade has you covered with his advise. You do need to go to a short string with low brace height. You may see a different picture of your tiller.

I finished tillerring it out.  I hit #40 @ 27"  a little light but i cut out the dimensions for a laminate bow but then i changed my mind and just made a selfbow.  It is 65 1/2" ntn and took 1 1/2" of set

On your next bow, get it to low brace asap. Don't use the long string too much. The faster you can get to brace, the better. Use the long string to work the limbs just enough to be able to accept a low (4") brace height. Be careful not to pull the stave past your intended draw weight at first brace.
