Ideas ? Stave length 68", 1/3/8 wide at center, 3/4 deep at center.

I would go for a simple bendy handle D bow about 60" :) or even shorter depending on draw length, besides I don't think you've made a D bow yet :)

Yep, looks like the perfect piece for a good "ol D bow. Simple to make and if tillered right, Smooth and fast. Saw Filer

That would be a perfect stave for a eastern woodlands style bow as is. 66" ntn bend through the slightly narrowed handle.
