i sat around today and cooked some rocks so while i was in the mood i knocked a few out. my thumb is a bit sore from the pressure flaking but well worth that discomfort. ;D
the top two are Texas chert, the large center one is dacite, the bottom ones are obs and glass.
each has great scars running to center and scary sharp. they turned out pretty thin and each one is a good candidate for hunting points. i havent knapped anything for a while, so it looks like the break did me good, i impressed myself with these ones. hope you enjoy- Ryan
oh and, i only used abo tools, deer tine flaker and elk antler billet.

Paul- i dont have tooooo much time on my hand...i just try to make the best of what i have. ofcourse from what i have gathered i have more time than you do, seems you travel a lot, knapping in hotels and such. but then your the one with the great talent too....maybe i should stay in a hotel a couple times a week. ;D
i came home and looed at that picture and it was taken at night in the house..i wasnt to pleased with how it looked, you cant see the colors, so i took a new one- Ryan

Nice points, day or night.
One of these days when I get a point I'm really really proud of, I'm going to try the arrow head mounted flat and perpendicular on the end of a arrow shaft when I photograph them. It makes them look like they're floating above the ground. ::)

Ryan: Those do look better gleaming in the sunlight, I see some obs, glass, and other stuff. I wouldn't recommend too much hotel life though - gets purty drab after awhile :-\.

I can only stand two to three days in a motel/hotel before I want to be home again!
