Cool arrows Bob. What is the material you used around the front of the arrow to make it skip? I've heard about these arrows for shooting ducks on the water but never tried them. Pat
-
Nice arrows Bob. I like shooting at birds on the ground, it is a lot easier than shooting them in the air. ;) Justin

o now i see it. I looked straight at the picture;D

Bob, I have heard about them being used along with whistling arrows. If the ducks are flying you shoot a whistling arrow near them, they think its a hawk and hit the water. Thats when the skippers come into play. ;D Pat

Whistlers workee good on cottontails........well that is when we had cottontails down south here pre fire-ants ! Cant say I ever used the 2 together though but have heard same as y'all Pat. ;D...........bob

Hey, Bob. They're called "Skippers" but how do you use them? ??? I love to duck hunt and I'd like to make some and give it a try. Any particular reason they're not fletched? :-\
Thanks
Mike

Shoot below duck on water Mike. Arrow skips into duck. Workee-good ! ;D Dont need ta be fletched, usually a close range shot like 10 yards er so. Besides fletch gets wet if ya use it, so I dont ! ;D Shot lots of mallards and wood ducks in years past and got some this year. Yummy ! ;D...bob
