here are a pair of blades barry mccall knapped for me. i hafted the to deer leg bone with pitch and sinew. enjoy!

Nice! Is that Cryolite? If it is man that took some heavy pounding and skill to make those blades!

Tiller, That is Cry-a Lot. Tough stuff. Thats why they use large dogwood billets and hammer stones.
Chris, Those are nice. Barry does do nice work. Gonna skin some pigs with them? ;) Pat

What I would not do to have some points arrow points and a knife made from that stuff. James told me he shot something like 16 deer with one of those arrow points and never had to sharpen the point but had to replace the shafts a few times.

Nice work, Chris. David, yep, it's hard to beat rhyolite for tools that you're actually going to use.
