Can we just declare simk the winner and get on to February? ;D
-
REALLY!!!! That’s going to be a tough one to beat!!🤠🤠🤠
-
Yeah it is a beauty. Good to have some stiff competition. I hope we can give him a little stiff competition to.
I hope to finish another one to enter, I don’t mind losing to a bow like that. Be even happier to lose to one better than that
Don’t give up before we start.

Well, its a tie right now among everyone who hasnt submitted a bow. So.... its neck and neck,, and anyone's game!

;D I'm still finishing my latest frankenbow, so it might be a February entry. Or March, at the speed I get these things done.

I have a couple of bows I'm finishing this month hopefully. I'll post my favorite one! Other peoples beautiful bows are great fuel to keep submitting them and putting in better work!
-
I’m not seeing Simk,s bow anywhere here. What am I missing?

Awesome James, thanks for joining in!

I’ve been working on one, but I’m tillering it really slow. I have two inches to get it perfect. It’s been holding its profile amazingly well so far. It’s a wiggly stave I got from Arvin. I’ll see if I can get it finished, but I’m not going to rush it.

is the bow of the month category specific like it used to be or is it open? if so i may have a bow ready soon.
-
Its open for anything primitive, including laminated as long as its natural materials. As soon as we start getting enough to justify it, I will split the categories like they used to be.
-
Ive got this bow done now. Its a korean horn bow hybrid. the link below details the build process and some early videos of me doing some shooting and testing.

Now there’s some serious competition there Dave. Really, really nice bow. Thanks for entering it.

Wow. I had skipped over Dave’s build in the past as it was not my “style”. I sat down last night and started at the beginning and read through the whole thread. What a time and labor intense build. Very interesting. My attention span would never see a build like that to the end. Definitely stiff competition for BOM.
-
Thanks gents! Appreciate your comments. This kind of build is not for everyone for sure. I had a long pause after getting it braced and shot a little before I could get back to it after the move out west. Thanks again for watching and your comments.

Dave i second your amazing work. Ive been watching your horn bow progress and just so impressed with how this one came together.

If you copy and paste the link from the title of your post it should work. Make sure to copy the link not just copy.
