This Thanksgiving is especially poignant for us and me especially. Marcia and I will have a quiet time at home watching the Macy's Day Parade and dog show afterwards. I'll be cooking a split turkey breast, garlic, sour cream mashed potatoes, et al for the two of us. Just the way we like it. Meredith will be home at Christmas so we'll celebrate more then.
 Happy Thanksgiving to all.  :OK
And, Happy First Nation's Day to our Native American friends.  :OK

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  I’ll be working 10 hours both days.  I bought a small frozen pizza for my thanksgiving lunch alone tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. It is my favorite holiday.

I will save a plate for you Clint.

I’m so thankful for so many things.

The people I have come to know here are some of them

I love it also BJ, headed over to Beau's this morning. This one will be extra special. With all that was going on with Miss Joanie we missed my birthday/Beau's birthday and Margaret Ann/Bodhi and Tanner's so we are having a big party to celebrate all together, gifts/cake and all. Should be a good day.  :)

I am gonna grill a big fat rainbow trout filet when I get home from work. It came off one of those huge fish I have been dragging out of the lake this fall and the ONE filet is almost a pound and a quarter! And I intend to serve it up with mashed taters, green bean casserole, and dressing!

Next, out of an abundance of caution, I want to remind everyone to be diligently safe this year. The main thing to remember is that once you get that plate loaded LIFT WITH YER LEGS AND NOT YER BACK!

;D

Back at you, guys.  Hope your day is peaceful and fun.

It's just me, the wife and kid this year, since we recently fought off a bout of whooping cough and the elderly relatives decided to keep their distance.  We had elk stroganoff for a main dish.  Berry cobbler and a fresh salad to round it out.  Unlike turkey, we're actually looking forward to the leftovers!   Shot a few arrows in the backyard, took a nap, worked on a bow out in the garage.  Now eavesdropping on the Badgerling talking on the phone with my dad.  There's a special bond between old guys and teenage grand daughters.

It gets even stronger when they go off to college. Granddaughters are precious

Im.afraid I broke the first rule of being a fat guy. Its with deep regret that I announce... I ate more than I could lift.
