Title: Wonky stave/ New bow

Last winter I took 7 staves that were potential burn pile candidates and put the heat gun to them to see if I could salvage any of them. So far 1 broke early in the process, 4 completed, 1 ready for a Truoil finish, and 1 roughed out. Here’s the latest.

Holy cow, thats a dang nice bend on that stick! Makes me wanna go to my stave reject pile and yank a bow out of them.

Forgot the specs,  Osage 42#@ 28” , 66” ntn.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the comments.
I put the 1st coat of Truoil on my next one so hopefully will have another to show in a few days.

This is the reason we bow makers have a "junk pile" at all!

Brilliant job, nice character and perfect tiller.
