Haven't posted one in a long time. Wanted to see if I could still post some pictures. Couple months back pulled out a piece from Mr Osage outlaw. Thanks as always buddy. Couple good kinks in it with some deep wind shakes to work around
-
Got a ring chased and a bunch of heat correction. 64 NTN. Had to build up the handle with some extra Osage
-
Shaping the handle and first brace
-
More handle stuff, spalted hackberry glue on and rawhide backing added. Quartersawn osage tip overlays
-
Clear coat deft rattlecan finish. Right about 50 at 27 ish. Turning out to be a good shooter. Have about 500 arrows though it so it's still got a lot more to prove. Minimal hand shock for a straight-limb longbow. Has about 2" of set from off the form. Thanks for looking

Nice work!

Great job on that bow Paul!

That's a beauty. I'm beginning to really appreciate the 'dirtier' pieces of wood then I used to. Makes for a great looking bow when all is said and done.

Very nice, hard earned bow, Paul. :OK
