Hi, everyone...
I really like to see kids involved in archery. I also like making bows for kids, just to see the look on their face!! This bow was made for Allison, the daughter of a buddy of mine. I made my buddy and his wife both bows, so I figured it was time to get the youngins flinging some wood as well.
Let's see... 62" NTN, maple selfbow, cocobolo tip overlays, 25# @ 20", 30# @ 22". Strunk style grip, flemish B&W string. I over tillered it, so she can still shoot it as she grows.

nice of you!

My most excellent wife, Linda, also painted the back of the bow. This girl likes fairies, so Linda painted a fairey holding a bow, as well as some vines and leaves along both limbs. Looks pretty good! The look on her face says it all!!

Hey adb...um, you think if i send a few bows out your way, your awesome wife will paint faeries on them for me, too? O:)

Nice job. Kids bows can be more challenging, but so much more rewarding.

Just Super! Both you and DanaM have really contributed to children this month. Does this little lady have a first name?

My turn to say awesome. That little girl is clearly pleased. Beautiful bow, and great art from Linda.

Great job dude. I think I enjoy making kids bows more than I do making adult bows. The joy the kids seem to get out of it is something great to witness , better than new money ;D
