And the TV repair man said it wasn’t worth fixing.
Like I always say. If you can’t fix it with a hammer stone, then you can’t fix it.
TV glass . Percussion and pressure.

I’m just wondering how old the TV was. I can’t really recall them having a tube in a while. Also curious as to how thick the glass was.

We still have a couple with a picture tube. I don’t know if a flat screen would work or not.
I actually got this glass from the dump. The guy that used to work there knew I used the glass from the picture tube and saved the glass from a few when people threw them out.
A word of caution. Clean off the glass right away. It has a coating on the inside that I’m sure isn’t good for you.
The glass is surprisingly thick. Depends on the TV, but usually about half inch thick. It also has a curvature you have to deal with but the thickness helps with that.

That stuff is pretty cool.  Did you make me a tv glass point in the trade years back?

I don’t remember Steve. I’m sure I did a trade with you a few years back but I don’t recall what I sent.

It’s kinda like the mirror in the fun house.
Everything is a little wavy
