I was looking through the points I have tried to make and I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m giving up on them to quick. After looking through them I decided to measure some of them and a lot of them are still over 2 inches at the base and many are over 2 inches long. I seem to run into a problem and just quit on them. I’ve probably got 15-20 like this. I’m thinking I’m going to go to work on some of these with my pressure flaker and see if I can get some points made from them. I’ll post some pictures of what I end up with in a few days.

I have lots of them I have set aside for a later date. I find it better than pushing a bad day.
I have to be in the right place to knap and for me I can only stay in that place for so long before I’m just hitting a rock. I try to stop before that now.
Also don’t be afraid to switch back and forth between percussion and pressure. Often times setting up a nice platform or moving a centerline with pressure can help set you up for percussion.
