I'm sure there is a place to put introductions and I probably just missed it, but my name is Joe. I've loved archery since childhood and made many a bow with bailing twine and a stick. That, I guess, has always stuck with me. I've always had a great admiration of primitive archery and bow making.
A few years back with the help of a mentor I made a osage selfbow and it reignited my desire to make primitive bows and arrows. I've read here and drooled at the pictures for too long, so decided to join in the fun.
I plan to listen lots and learn from you great folks.
Thanks for having me,
Joe

Welcome, Joe. Like Pappy said, let's see some pictures.

Thank you, mullet!
I've only built the one real selfbow. I've found staves hard to come by here.
The rest has been whittling at board bows. :-[

Welcome to PA, Joe. If you want answers you have to ask questions and when you continue with bow building pics are always welcome and helpful too. :OK
