Made this Osage snake Bow, Sinew backed of coarse. 40#@20" 46/3/4 NTN
Wish I could find a source that has defect free osage, this one turned out okay but had lots of strange inner bark like debree. I hollow tillered it so far its bending just a little bit more on the Lower, need to let is sit for an other 6 months, Patience

You can, but it comes at a high price. To high for me. Were I live you can harvest some nice black locust. Not as good as Osage, but with heat ,and sinew can make nice short bow, or longer bow for that matter.

osage is very forgiving with the tiller,, no matter the so called imperfections,,
