Title: Highly asymmetrical static?
Post by: Kidder on March 15, 2023, 12:29:44 am
So I meant to make a symmetrical static boo backed Osage. Started to prep the boo and realized I goofed and made the center of the bow where the shelf will be - so a full 4 inches asymmetrical. I can proceed as is or i suppose I could shorten the top limb and glue on another recurve (they are glued on as it is). Thoughts (aside from that I’m an idiot)?

doesn't matter as long as you tiller it to bend evenly.
One of my nicest bows has the lower limb 3" longer than the upper.
Purely intentional you understand  ;) ::) O:)
