Title: Large knot hole
Post by: Doug509 on June 16, 2022, 09:42:12 am
This is an interesting Yew stave with a knot from a limb I removed by drilling out the center. The knot is 3/4" with armpits above and below.   I left about the same width in stave wood around the knot and was looking for advice on if I should remove more wood before tillering. It is 12" from the limb tip.

Not that is a knot!
I think it looks about right to start bending.
