Multiple tornados came through our area recently.E3 and E2 type.4 people from 1 family were killed an hour north of me.1 person killed camping in a park 15 minutes north of me.
A number of sheds demolished within 1 mile of me.Quite a mess.I hav'nt driven around farther down the tornados path as to what more damage has been done.
We were lucky and are fine.
Now that the cold front has moved through we were blessed with about 5" of snow.No big deal as we are dug out already but winter has decided to hang on a while yet.

Whew. Glad you're OK. Where are you? We don't have stuff like that up here. Just blizzards and droughts. I'll take it.

Glad you are ok Ed.
Yeah we just got rid of most of our snow and ice and today we got it back again. Yesterday was really windy.
The change is a coming

WB....We get blizzards/droughts/and floods too.Like many areas.I live in southern Iowa.Mother nature is the boss.
BJ....Yep we'll go into the freezer a while again.Frost was just completely out of the ground too.I hope my fruit trees' buds did'nt get burned off. It'll all work out ok.It usually always does.
Funny thing was the current never went off. That's unusual. We did get a lot of straight line wind.

Glad all is well Ed,I saw it on the news and thought about you. :)

The weather here is a forecast of what might transpire farther into the more southern states. As the cold/warm air line slips farther south creating a volatile situation.
Like the old mountain men used to say.Keep your nose along the sky line.
We are through it here. The cold front is on us.

The Pin Oak Marsh 15 miles to the north of me got wiped off the map.Around a 4000 sq.ft. museum.Hundreds of locally donated mounts of indigenous wildlife and fish/reptile/and amphibian aquarium displays.Artifact diesplays.
It was a meeting place for local civil concerns to be held too.Last one I went to was the local livestock mens' concerns about mountain lions in the area.
Just utilitiy crews left reconnecting electric lines this morning.

Glad you all are safe. I was worried about those twisters. My grandson is currently with his male biological contributor in Coon Rapids. Glad they missed him.
