Found some new awesome chert. I thought this job site was done but it isn't and it is chocked full of good rock. I went and nabbed some today.

I have the cuts to prove the potential lol. Wish there were less weather seams but man it flakes great and is super sharp

looks like burlington.. it can be heat treated to help.. looks like you got the spalling down brother.. gut

Thanks Parnell, I'm hoping I can get enough I can trade for some other kinds of rock to try. Gut it doesn't need any heat it is already super sharp and flakes really well. As far as spalling goes this was mostly lightly tapping through weather seams and letting it fall where it may. They are digging three more units so I'm thinking I'll be collecting a butt ton
