Title: Black Locust Flatbow 40-45# @ 28"

Hi guys!

I've just finished new bow. I used black locust stave seasoned for a year. The bow is 68" ntn drawing 40-45 lb at 28". It took nearly no set after 150+ shots. Shoots extremely sweet, I named it "Falcon". For handle wrap used flax twine sealed with hide glue. For the bow protection I applied water varnish. At widest limbs are 2" wide.

That is a beautiful locust bow. I think it is a perfect design for locust and your build proves it.  8) :OK

Nice bow/ good tiller dreamcraft and excellent video showing how to sneak up on your final tiller and draw weight.

Very nice work. That's the design I liked when locust was the best wood I could get.
