So I just broke this pebble open and it’s beautiful! I love the lines and it’s a really nice purple. I just wanna know what it is.

looks like some kind of flint to me..would be tough to get a point out of that small piece but ya never know. I do most of my practicing on nasty rock.. turtle back . high ridge narly stuff.. that way when I get a decent flake I can get a point .. haha..I'm still trying to get my indirect down.. having much better luck with percussion.. I actually got a leg bone I am using more and more.. the socket end is really working better than antler for me.. trying to stay off my boppers.. going abo....I think I am going to try my indirect with an antler tine mounted in wood.. gut
