Title: Tillering tree
Post by: Butch Speer on July 27, 2021, 11:53:33 am
Going to build a tillering tree. My question is, if I hang the bow on top with the scale hanging from the string, will I need to account for the weight of the scale? Appreciate all answers,

Butch

Yes.
The big dial scales have a knob for zeroing the scale, so you can set it to read 2 pounds when the scale is hanging on the string.
Next! ;)

Small digital scales are very inexpensive and weigh practically nothing.

+1. I didn't know you could still buy a scale that actually weighs enough to alter the readings significantly.
