It adds a lot of time and effort to the build. It's not for beginners. I was giving the bowyer a compliment, not discussing the efficiency or history of brush nocks. Sorry your weren't able to understand my comment.

Brush nocks do look really cool on a selfbow.

i think #2 is really pretty and has a really nice finished look! the brush nocks look really neat too!

Post by: Digital Caveman on July 08, 2021, 11:45:10 am: I don't think the bush knocks necessarily add much more mass if they are done right, but they don't seem to let the string lift off the recurve much at all. The tiller looks good though.
