Title: Yew Shortbow
Post by: dreamcraft_archery on April 26, 2021, 09:35:36 am
Hi guys!

I'd like to show you my latest creation. It's european yew flatbow. 37" ntn drawing 45lbs at 18". I hollowed a knot just below the handle. That was a tough stick to tiller. The bow bends on the whole length. Nocks are reinforced with bog oak. The bow was slightly heat treated and after some shooting it has 1-2" of set. That was just for fun project.

Here is build along video I made for this bow:

All the best for you guys, stay safe!
