Ive just gotten back into the whole bow-making hobby and decided to make some shavings. This was a 48.5 inch peice of oceanspray that I've had seasoning for around two years now, with about an inch of natural deflex. I'm gripping the bow just below center so the arrow pass is the dead center lengthwise. Anyways any thoughts or critique on the tiller?

The picture may be distorting but I see the bow bending way too much below your hand and not near enough on the top limb.
A tillering gizmo might be what you need to even things out.
