This build was my first honest crack at a lot of things:
first laminate
first backing
first perry reflex
first time working with either bamboo or ipe
first time tillering a reflex
first time I felt proud of tip overlays
I could probably go on. I learned so much and had a ton of fun in the process. The tiller is probably less than perfect as it bends a probably disproportionately in the inner thirds but ultimately, I like the way it shoots and I like the way it looks . I'll definitely do a bbi perry reflex again, it just worked so great for me and produced a sweet, dainty little shooter.

Very nice!

Yes it is tricky getting the mid to uters to work properly on r/d.
If you want a little tip open out the bellyside of your nock grooves. Reduces string wear.

Very nice and should be very smooth drawing at 70".

very nice ... great job.. I got one glued up now.. only 62 inch... ipe is hard as nails and extremely tough on tools... a pain to work but makes a helluva bow... gut

Thanks! The handle is a piece of walnut with some awesome burl that a family member gave to me

Worked out really well. Very graceful curves on this design, well executed. Looks great.
