Post by: recurve shooter on May 08, 2008, 12:21:55 am
hi guys. i am doing my physics project on primitive archery. i need a pic of an arro just about to leave the string, ya know, flexed and ready to spring forward. an arro or atlatl dart would serve the same purpous. i really apriciate it guys.

recurve,

Tough picture to get :o. I don't think arrows spring forward like atlatl darts do though, but flex around the handle as  the string drives it forward.

Someone posted on another forum about atlatls. He included a video from youtube which showed the flex you are looking for. Might try there.

Good luck!

Somebody posted some here. I think it was right about when Marc posted the bows blowing at the moment the picture was taken.  Justin

Go to Eastern Arrows web site. They used to have some good pictures and videos.
