here's my new blade i knapped today. or spear head i suppose. unfortunatly the camera doesnt pick up the fine scar marks. but the scars run well to center. its about 5 inches long. so now you get to play- name that stone. the winner gets blessed with knowing he\she is a smart cookie. ;D thanks for checking it out- Ryan

Looks like about half the population is in TN or on their way there ;D. Kinda slow around here..

I'm swinging by the house on my way home from work, picking up my Dad and gear and headed that way. Hope to make it to Springfield, MO tonight and then on into Pappy's on Friday around noonish.

Looks good Ryan, thunderchert was my guess too.
Sure is slow around here with all the people getting there fix this weekend :P just jealous and DR. Keenan is out of town :'( :'( :'(

Thunder chert, or common opal is my guess. Picture its hard to tell.

i'd say top is mahogany and the bottom looks to be silver sheen. infact it looks like the silver sheen i got from justin snyder- ryan

The Top is Mohagany....but when I purchased the Botton He called it Ribbon Obsidian.looks really cool in the Sun too..... :o
