Hello everyone. First off, I want to thank everyone for all of the help and encouragement I have received here. I am thankful to be part of this great community. (=)
SO here is my most recent bow. I harvested a small sugar maple sapling while clearing some shooting lanes and decided to make a go at a youth bow. This bow is 46 inches NtN, bend through the handle that pulls 18 pounds at 22 inches (drawn to 20 inches in full draw picture). It has a built up handle made of cork and is finished with linseed oil.
It was my fist attempt at a bow from a stave, first bend through the handle bow, first cork handle add on and first leather handle wrap.
Accepting all feedback!

Very nice. I built something similar yesterday. I used a dead limb from a cedar tree that was 1-1/4” at the handle. It is pretty wonky. 54” t/t 32 lb at 24”. Took me about 2-1/2 hours. Only sanded to 50 grit.
My main hunting buddy is 12. Probably gonna send this home with him.
