Title: Question: Heat treating Hickory heartwood
Post by: bambule on September 10, 2020, 10:12:49 am
Hi Guys,

does anyone has experience with tempering Hickory heartwood?
I`ve done in the past once and the wood comes out like rubber - I could bend it in both directions.
I`ve build a lot of Hickory sapwood only bows with heat treating and great results - Hickory sapwood loves the heatgun...

Cheers,
Cord
