hey all... i have been workin up a good lookin ash target bow for the wife and i have a efw questions..... i want her to be able to hunt with it... right now it pulls at close to twenty nine pounds at 26 inches and the lower limb is stiffer than the other to keep the weight up... if i were to pike it two inches and back it with some rawhide as well as flipping the tips ... about how far would that bring up the weight?

if you cut 2 inches off each limb and flipped the Tips....you could probably get 45 pounds out of it....the Rawhid will add nothing at all....sometimes it slows a Bow down....but it will add security when it come to Back Failures ....you don't say how long the Bow is to start with....
