With all the quarantine time I made bows for my nephews. One is 13 and the other 10. They have already been exposed to more hunting than I have in their years, as they have the good fortune of being raised on a ranch. They are really chomping at the bit to hunt with stick bows. We'll be taking some time to make arrows. Both bows are hunting weight. One a Osage selfbow at 50# and the smaller is sinew backed Osage with rawhide...I brought it down to 45# for him. They spent Sunday afternoon shooting arrows with me. Sure did make me feel good as they really loved it. Makes me excited to hunt with them as they get older now and are taking greater interest in the challenging pursuit.

Good job, Uncle Steve. I'll bring some arrows for them when we come down next week.

That’s great to see! I love making and shooting bows with my grandkids. Can’t wait till they are old enough to bow hunt
