I wanted to share some pics of my new arrow. I hope to get my turkey with it in a couple of weeks. I traded for the point.

Thanks everyone ! The shafts are POC and the finish is a water based poly.....They fly great !!

That is a fine looking arrow.I myself don't crest my arrows either, can't see where it makes 'em better.I think that if you get the shot, the turkey's in the pot. Frank

Next week i find out ! I was up hunting this weekend with my Dad for his season, tuff conditions.....Friday Heavy rain , Saturday 40 mile an hour winds with snow !! Not the best hunting, but we still had fun.
-
yup, that about sums up the last week of turkey hunting here too.
snowed on saturday and windy as a biotch, didnt see no one hunting around here,no trucks parked on field approches or anything.
man i just love them fair weather hunters ;D
hopefully this will mean less hunting pressure on the birds, bow season starts on the 16th of may. thats when i'll be chasing them smart ol' buzzards( the wife and my youngest son,he's 18,they come too).havent seen anyone on one a piece of private land that i am allowed to hunt.so maybe these last couple of weeks of foul weather will work out in our favor.
if thurkey gods bless us this year,we could end up with three fat ol' easterns by thend of may. mmmmmmmmmmm turkey.

Good luck. My season is over, heading for the Classic. ;D
