I started a new thread about this bow. I just noticed as I was saving it that it is a hornbow. I like it :D Do you have an unbraced picture you could post. I'm interested in how much reflex there is and where it is. Thanks

				No probs.

			-
				And a couple more :)

				Very nice bow indeed  ;)
Could you post some full draw pictures ?
Is it 5 piece construction ?

I remember that bow.Very nice indeed. He put the bling on that one with gold leaf I presume. If I remember right I think it's length is in the lower 50's.

I'll get a full draw picture this afternoon.
I shot it some this morning to get some speed figures on it. 11 gpp 175 - 180 fps, with 9 gpp 195 - 200fps.
Yes it is 5 piece.
Handle is hornbeam, limbs maple and tips black locust. I love locust for tips sections as it bends nicely, is stiff for its thickness and nicely hard and durable. Same it doesn't grow here. I may have to see if someone has any to trade!

I don't think so. One is ash and one is Hornbeam, Maple and BL

				Oops, missed those little details!

			-
Yes that is a different bow.

			-
How did the ash one hold up?

			-
It is still going strong and has been used extensively.

Sweet bow,   very nice art work and incredible bend.

			-
Nice craftsmanship. wonder how and far it shoots an arrow?

			-
Can't remember the distances but its not bad :)
If people want to make their first hornbow I would strongly recommend this design. It really is an awesome bow :)....not just cos I made it either haha
