This was a nice clean piece of Oregon yew with a straight forward design and not too much distracting extras. The bow is 68" nock to nock and it pulls 58@@30". The shooter said he shoots left handed sometimes too so I decided to do some ambidexterous strike plates. I inlaid the beaver tail so it stood just a little proud but didn't feel tacked on. The tip overlays are buffalo horn, the finish is tru oil.

Great bow Weylin. The contrast of the yew along with the black overlays and strike plates really adds to that bow. Very nice work.

Beautiful,..thanks for sharing

Very nice! I really like the grain shown in the handle, good you didn't wrap it. To inlay the strike plates, just shows your passion for perfectionism!
Love it, thanks for showing us your work!

Very nice bow. Love the profile. Perfect overlays, too.

You’ve really done right by that yew. Your ornate work is really beautiful but to me nothing makes the wood look better than a naked bow

Sweet looking yew bow Weylin. Some time ago I made an ambidestrious bow out of osage. It stayed in a traditional bow shop and leftys and rightys shot it to their content.Think it's still there as the owner of shop won't sell it.

That’s a really beautiful bow!! Great job Weylin

A gorgeous bow from a great piece of yew. I too love the contrast between the sap wood and the heart wood. Another great bow ... keep them coming. Thanks.
