I finally finished her.
sprayed a spar urethane finish, and wrapped acotton grip on with Zebra hide plate and rest, all I have to do is wait for the sun to come up to take pictures
66" ntn, 58# @27", simmetrical limbs with 1/8" positive, 1/4" of retained reflex, overlays wood I don't know, it was given to me.
Here's a couple of pictures of the unfinished handle

Howdy N. Pirate,
Hay!... Nice lookin' bow! Shiny ;)
So, what's the width on this skinny lady near the fades?
And, I hope you post more pictures soon; braced, full draw... You know the drill.
Thanks for sharing,
Canoe

Manny, This is a beautiful example of what can be achieved with one of the "second string" bow woods. I bet it gives nothing up to some of the more "desirable" woods. Great job on this one...but I'm not at all surprised, coming from you. Pat
-
Manny that is a serious example of your excellent craftsmanship. As Pat stated to take a medium rate wood and push the extreams takes some real talent and skill. Absolutely no excess wieght in those tips,I bet that thing shoots like a dream. Not surprising to see such quallity from you. ;) Keenan
-
Nicely done Manny. Is that the natural color, or stained?
-
Beautiful!!
-
Thanks guys,
O.K., I'm having my cup of coffe, as soon as my eyes open I'll go out and take pictures ;D ;D
Mimms, it's stained with a minwax product called Sedona Red
Canoe, it's 1 1/2" at the fades.
-
That's gorgouse! I can't wait for full draw :)!

Nice looking bow as usuall Manny. It does remind me of Pat's tissue papper bow a little. ;D Good use of unknown wood also.
I'm still not used to your new moniker. I changed mine for about 2 days and got so much hate mail I changed it back. ::) Justin

Gorgeous - makes me want to get another white oak sapling again.
Curious, did you have any problems with the oak checking on you?
That is a beautiful bow Mannie.
