Title: Tendons....for how long?
Post by: maitus on July 07, 2019, 01:42:29 pm
Hi comrades :D!
I have a question for sinew lovers.  For how long time are the tendons usable? I have a bulk of moose tendons  about 5 years old.

If the sinew hasn't rotted and were stored in a dry place they should still be good.

Sinewed bows over 100 years old can be strung up and shot.  If your sinew is stored well it will outlast you.

I recently used some sinew that  Marc sent me  what seems like yesterday but in fact was almost 20 years ago.
