Why does a 2' deep fence post hole look like it's 4' deep ;D ;D ;D

Has to do with Murphy's Law of digging - you are either not deep enough or too deep! >:D. On the other hand, discretion is the better part of valor!  I started to dig a hole for blueberries, and was down about 15-16" when I remembered there is an electric power line buried in that part of the garden!  Filled that one in and relocated away from the area!

You should have called me first! I bought that oil well in North Dakota and it was dry. So rented a tractor and pulled the hole out of the ground and cut it into 2 foot long sections to sell as pre-dug post holes. I got a big old stack of holes out back. I'da sent you some.  Being nothing but an empty hole it woulda cost nothing to ship!

They were all 14" diameter.  I went out back to look at them and it seems they got wet and collapsed in around the edges.  They are all ruined!

I've seen Buggs keep one folded up in his pocket. Maybe if you dry them out you can shake them back into shape.
