Why does a 2' deep fence post hole look like it's 4' deep ;D ;D ;D
-
Yup... it's true... ;D
Del

Why.. I dont know tell me I'm half ??? dah .,yup, yup.
-
Got it down 32" and my back told me that it was deep enough ;D
-
Has to do with Murphy's Law of digging - you are either not deep enough or too deep! >:D. On the other hand, discretion is the better part of valor! I started to dig a hole for blueberries, and was down about 15-16" when I remembered there is an electric power line buried in that part of the garden! Filled that one in and relocated away from the area!

I need some exercise. What doesn't kill you makes you tired. or something like that ;)

You should have called me first! I bought that oil well in North Dakota and it was dry. So rented a tractor and pulled the hole out of the ground and cut it into 2 foot long sections to sell as pre-dug post holes. I got a big old stack of holes out back. I'da sent you some. Being nothing but an empty hole it woulda cost nothing to ship!
-
Now ya tell me. What diameter are your holes?
-
They were all 14" diameter. I went out back to look at them and it seems they got wet and collapsed in around the edges. They are all ruined!
-
I've seen Buggs keep one folded up in his pocket. Maybe if you dry them out you can shake them back into shape.
-
Best laugh ive had in a while THANKS
-
I understand the Roadrunner kept a supply stashed in handy places as well!
