Title: questions about stacked rawhide handles

so im a little confused on rawhide handles, do they affect the bend if a bendy handle d bow and its performance or are they just handles with a little give :-\ please explain for me.

They make no difference. Usually  leather though.

Thanks that sounds good but i have a bunch of what i belive is cow rawhide ad its about just under a centimeter thick so its probably what ill use.
